I can't seem to make authentic xiao long boa. So yesterday I was in Super H Mart following what I believe was a Korean family through the frozen section. The mom was buying dumplings. I just picked up what she put in her basket until she started grabbing some pretty strange taste combinations. I wish I had noted those more closely. But all I know is that I verbally responded to one of them. Oops!
I'll post when I pick a favorite. But I doubt they will be as good as the ones I made with the kids in East Asia.

YAY, YAY, YAY! I love being able to keep in touch with you guys. I caught the kids ugly respiratory virus, so I'm vegging out, wasting my day away on FB and Blogspot today!
Cindy, I would LOVE some of these recipes. We are getting ready to study Asia, and we always make authentic recipes from the continent we are studying. Would I make a wreck of it if I attempted something myself???
